Those riders riding at any of the three point-to-point fixtures staging pony racing in the South Wales & Monmouthshire Area (Llangeinor, Glamorgan & Ystrad Taf Fechan) will be eligible for the Area’s Riders Championship. Points will be allocated as follows:
1st: 10 points, 2nd: 6 points and 3rd: 4 points.
The Champion Rider will be presented with their award at the South Wales & Monmouthshire Area Dinner & Awards at the Holiday Inn, Newport, Gwent (date t.b.c)
For riders and ponies, who have qualified as per the PRA Regulations and who have NEVER WON any race. Neither rider nor pony can have taken part in the Racecourse Series aka “Charles Owen”.
