The Taster Sessions will take place in the morning before racing. This unmounted day is not suitable for those Pony Racing on the day due to timings.
Times and other information such as parking, meeting place etcetera will be confirmed and emailed to those registered nearer the date. Times are TBC but likely to start at 10.30am and will lead into Pony Club Pony Racing in the afternoon.
This is a chance to find out more about pony racing. Activities on the day include:
Having a go on an equicisor with a qualified coach
Finding out what you need to do to get pony racing on your own pony or with one of our PRA Academies
Finding out how fit you need to be to ride in a pony race!
Having a tour round the racecourse
Watching riders aged from 9-16 take part in Pony Club Pony Race Day races for 128cm, 138cm and 148cm ponies.
This day is for everyone (recommended participant age from age 7 to 16). No specialist knowledge, equipment or pony required. This unmounted day is not suitable for those Pony Racing on the day due to timings.
The morning is free but places must be booked in advance as limited spaces are available. Participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout the day.
