Ponies may not be led to the start. A hunt escort will be provided.
Trophies will be awarded to the children, who are deemed by the Senior Steward on the day, to be the best potential jockeys.
A prize will be given to the highest placed 128cms & under combination in the first race.
Prizes will be given to best placed Novice combination in both races. (A Novice Rider is someone who has NOT won ANY pony race before the start of the 2023 Point-to-Point Pony racing Season).
The South East Riders Championship will be awarded to the rider who accumulates the most points during the season at the South Eastern Area PtP Pony Racing Fixtures. Points will be allocated as follows:
1st: 6 2nd: 4 3rd: 2 4th: 1.
The fixtures being: Old Surrey, Burstow & West Kent (1/4), Chiddingfold, Leconfield & Cowdray (22/4) and the Mid Surrey Farmers Draghounds (29/4).
With regard to balloting, should a ballot be required, priority with be given in the following order:
1) First time Riders.
2) Those riders who have had the least number of runs
3) Those closest to the venue as per their PRA membership registered post code.
up to a maximum of 10 entries with three reserves being advertised following the deadline.

FOR THOSE WITH MORE THAN ONE PONY, IF MAKING ENTRIES FOR MORE THAN ONE RACE AT A FIXTURE, YOU MUST STATE YOUR PREFERRED RACE. SHOULD THE RACES BE OVER SUBSCRIBED YOU WILL ONLY BE PERMITTED TO RIDE IN ONE RACE ON THE DAY.
