Ponies may not be led to the start. A hunt escort will be provided.
If sufficient entries are NOT received for the OPEN races, they may amalgamate into one race.
A prize will be given to the groom of the best turned out pony in each race to the value of £10. A prize will be given to the highest placed 128cms & under combination in the second race (138cms Open).
A prize will be presented at the Haydon Hunt on Saturday, 20th May to the Northern Area rider who accumulates the most points during the season at the Northern Area PtP Pony Racing Fixtures. Points will be allocated as follows: 1st: 6 2nd: 4 3rd: 2 4th: 1.
The fixtures being: Jedforest (22/1), Berwickshire (12/2), Buccleuch (11/3), Lanarkshire & Renfrewshire and Eglinton (25/3), Morpeth (1/4), Tynedale (10/4), Lauderdale (16/4), Overton Races (29/4) and the Haydon (20/5).
With regard to balloting, should a ballot be required, priority with be given in the following order:
1) First time Riders.
2) Those riders who have had the least number of runs
3) Those closest to the venue as per their PRA membership registered post code.
up to a maximum of 10 entries with three reserves being advertised following the deadline.

FOR THOSE WITH MORE THAN ONE PONY, IF MAKING ENTRIES FOR MORE THAN ONE RACE AT A FIXTURE, YOU MUST STATE YOUR PREFERRED RACE. SHOULD THE RACES BE OVER SUBSCRIBED YOU WILL ONLY BE PERMITTED TO RIDE IN ONE RACE ON THE DAY.
