Should sufficient entries be received one race may divide.
Ponies may not be led to the start. A hunt escort will be provided.

A COMBINATION MAY ONLY MAKE ONE ENTRY ON ANY ONE WEEKEND.
The Kez Trophy will be presented to the first 128cms & under pony past the post on the day.
A Jockey Jan Trophy will be presented to the first 148cms & first 138cms pony past the post in the Open race.
The Fife Foxhounds Perpetual Trophy will be presented to the leading Novice Combination.
The Crawford Family will present the “George Crawford Legacy Trust” Prize at the Haydon Hunt on Saturday, 14th May to the rider who accumulates the most points during the season at the Northern Area PtP Pony Racing Fixtures.
Points will be allocated as follows: 1st: 6 2nd: 4 3rd: 2 4th: 1.
The fixtures being: Berwickshire (13/2), Duke of Buccleuch (20/3), Lanarkshire & Renfrewshire and Eglinton (27/3), Morpeth (2/4), Tynedale (18/4), Fife (23/4) and the Haydon (14/5).
With regard to balloting please note:
Should a ballot be required (if more than 10 entries are received), priority with be given to, in the following order:
1) First time Riders.
2) Those riders who have had the least number of runs
3) Those closest to the venue as per their PRA membership registered post code.
up to a maximum of 10 entries with three reserves being advertised following the deadline.
Pony Racing will take place BEFORE the Point-to-Point Racing.
Race 1: 148cms & under NOVICERIDER Race.
For qualified Riders who at the start of the season haven’t WON an OPEN Point-to-Point or an OPEN Pony Club Race, a “NOVICE RIDER” (Point-to-Point) race nor an INTERMEDIATE Race and who have never taken part in the Racecourse series.
For qualified Ponies which haven’t WON or been placed second in any OPEN Point-to-Point, OPEN Pony Club or OPEN Racecourse race since 1st January 2020. Combinations must have qualified as per the PRA Regulations.
Any combination winning two of these races won’t be eligible to run in another qualifying race until the Championship Finals on Wednesday, 1st June at the Meynell & South Staffordshire PtP.
