If entering both races please state your preferred race.
The Wessex Area finals are open to combinations who have run within the WESSEX Area during the current season. Where a meeting is abandoned those entered will automatically qualify. The OPEN Finals will be held at the Weston & Banwell on Wednesday, 13th May.
The Novice Finals will be held at the West Somerset Vale on Saturday, 24th May.
For qualified Riders who at the start of the season haven’t WON an OPEN Point-to-Point or an OPEN Pony Club Race, nor a “NOVICE RIDER” (Point-to-Point) race and who have never taken part in the Racecourse series.
For qualified Ponies which haven’t WON or been placed second in any OPEN Point-to-Point, OPEN Pony Club or OPEN Racecourse race since 1st January 2018. Any combination winning two of these races won’t be eligible to run in another qualifying race until the Championship Finals on Saturday, 6th June at the Meynell & South Staffordshire PtP.
