SHOULD SUFFICIENT ENTRIES BE RECEIVED ONE RACE MAY DIVIDE.
PLEASE NOTE: COMBINATIONS CAN ONLY BE ENTERED IN ONE RACE ON ANY ONE WEEKEND.
FOR THOSE WITH MORE THAN ONE PONY, IF MAKING ENTRIES FOR MORE THAN ONE RACE AT A FIXTURE, YOU MUST STATE YOUR PREFERRED RACE. SHOULD THE RACES BE OVER SUBSCRIBED YOU WILL ONLY BE PERMITTED TO RIDE IN ONE RACE ON THE DAY.
Ponies may not be led to the start. A hunt escort will be provided.
A prize will be given to the groom of the best turned out pony in each race to the value of £10.
A prize will be given to the highest placed 128cms & under combination in the first race (138cms Open).
A prize will be awarded to the highest placed Novice combination in each race.
A Novice is where a pony or rider (not necessarily together) have never won any pony race or taken part in the racecourse
series before the start of the 2024 season.
A prize will be presented at the Haydon Hunt on Saturday, 18th May to the Northern Area rider who accumulates the most points during the season at the Northern Area PtP Pony Racing Fixtures.
Points will be allocated as follows: 1st: 6 2nd: 4 3rd: 2 4th: 1.
The fixtures being: Jedforest (21/1), Berwickshire (11/2), Buccleuch (9/3), Lanarkshire & Renfrewshire and Eglinton
(23/3), Morpeth (29/3), Tynedale (1/4), Overton Races (27/4) and the Haydon (18/5).
